Erin and Brad’s story began in 2009 while working together in the front office of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball club. They worked together for two years, building a strong friendship, before their interests turned romantic and it hit them that they were truly made for each other. They dated for three years before Brad popped the question in front of the Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces, a place they often visited on their late night walks after IronPigs games.
They opted for a fall wedding at Bear Creek Mountain Resort – on Halloween! Erin and Brad found ways to pay tribute to their baseball love story throughout the day and to honor Brad’s grandmother who had very recently passed. They also included some truly personalized elements – their ceremony included mixing of glass frit as a symbol of unity (a tribute to the glass studio on the street where they live, who later fired the mixture into a custom vase) and their reception featured the “Shoe Game” which had guests laughing as they learned a little bit more about the Bride and Groom.
Erin and Brad are truly grateful to their friends and families for giving them a beautiful day they will never forget and an incredible start to their life together!
