Katie and Josh Wedding at Kings Mills in Media, Pa

Last fall, Katie and Josh contacted and met with us about photographing their wedding the following summer. After learning about their wedding and getting to know them (one of the sweetest couples we’ve ever met), I was really excited for their wedding at Kings Mills in Media, Pa. We’ve never done a wedding there, so that added to the excitement. Katie and Josh both got ready at a nearby hotel before heading to the venue. Originally it was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony along the river but due to heat and a chance of rain, they decided to move it inside in the Kings Chapel. What a smart move!!! During the ceremony, I could hear that it started to downpour. Luckily we did a first look and most of the formals before the ceremony started. So we only had the family formals to do afterwards. Once everything was complete we headed upstairs to the Camelot room for their reception. The room was gorgeous!! The night was full of fun and dancing.
