What a wedding! A filmmaker’s dream for sure. Northampton Valley Country Club is really a top notch venue with an immaculate ballroom and perfectly manicured grounds. The planning by Dawn and her mom Sandy was all about the details. Definately something we appreciate as it made for a great event to film. Between the ice sculpture, flambe show and beautiful courtyard this outdoor ceremony had it all.
We always tell our clients, if you have an “outside the box” idea for your film let us know! The motorcycle entrance was actually Dawn and Jesse’s idea. We never did anything like this before, but we figured out how to make it happen. (Trai driving Trev hanging off the back of a golf-cart!) And it turned out to be an awesome scene.
Entertainment wise, Dawn liked pink. So pink it was, in the form of pink uplights around the room, pink accent lights for the cake and a pink theme on the DJ setup. We also pin-spot the cake for some extra pop and brought our flatscreen for a fun live-feed of the dance floor during the reception. And this reception certainly was not short on people dancing and hamming it up for the eye in the sky!
