Danny has been a friend of mine for well over a decade. Though in recent years, he has moved out of the Lehigh Valley and we’ve been out of communication. So when he approached me to photograph his wedding, I was elated! It was great to connect with him again and I was very happy to be hired to photograph his upcoming wedding. Their day started at the beautiful Brookside Country Club in Macungie, Pa. They were on the fence about having a first look. So once everyone was done getting ready, we went outside for a “First Vow”! It was a really nice, creative alternative to the traditional “first look”. After they said their personal vows and shed a few tears, we headed to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. What a beautiful church! Very pretty natural lighting during their ceremony. After their first kiss as a married couple, we headed to Lockridge Furnace Park for their formals. We got some really cute photos there. One was an idea that Danny mentioned which was having the bridal party throw leaves in the air around Kalean and Danny. It turned out perfect! After we brushed off the leaves, we headed back to Brookside for their reception. It was a non-stop dance party! These two families sure loved to show off their dancing skills.
