Prianka and Juan met in 2011 during college at Penn State; Prianka was pursuing a career in Advertising and Juan a Criminal Justice degree. Prianka was the first one to approach Juan at a Halloween party… her in a Robin costume, and he in a low-budget ninja costume. That was the start of their love story.
After Juan graduated, they continued to keep their relationship strong and see each other often despite hundreds of miles separating their hometowns. Come Prianka’s graduation day, Juan asked for her father’s blessing in marriage. That summer, Juan and Prianka went on a family trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico with his family. Juan proposed in the middle of El Yunque rain forest, in front of a waterfall. They were both excited to start their adventures and journey together.
They began their three day wedding entourage by embarking on cultural traditions and bonding activities with their families. From the beautiful henna night, the colorful and vibrant Gaye Holud ceremony, to the meticulously-planned details of the elegant affair that would forever mark the beginning of their inseparable union. Their ceremony and reception took place at the Columbia Station in Phoenixville on June 21, 2015. It was a beautiful day on Father’s Day surrounded by their friends and family, with whom, we could tell, they share a very close bond.
