We couldn’t have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect and these two were definitely ready to get married.
Their day started at Cairnwood Estate. If you’ve never been there, the mansion is gorgeous! It was built in 1895 by John Pitcairn who was one of the leading industrialists of his time. Anyway, Kaitlin got ready in the bridal suite before having a “first touch” with Sean. They didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, but they wanted to hold hands and read notes they wrote for one another. It was really nice to see how excited and in love they were when reading the notes. After that, we headed to the church for the ceremony.
Then it was time for one of my favorite parts of wedding day – the creative session. We walked around the Cairnwood estate grounds for some photos. We were basically tripping over beautiful scenery. Once we were done they headed to cocktail hour before the festivities began. The reception was a fun one. The dance floor was never not packed! This crowd loved to dance.
