I’ve been waiting for this wedding for quite a few months. Back in the spring, we photographed their engagement session at Lockridge Park. They were such a sweet couple and I felt we really hit if off. They were so easy to talk with and photograph, so that got me excited for their wedding day.
Fast forward to this summer and it was time for the big day at Stroudsmoor Country Inn. The whole day took place there. The girls got ready at the Ledgemere Loft and the boys in the Auradell Suites. Once everyone was looking all fancy, we headed into the woods for the ceremony. Woodsgate is one of my favorite ceremony sites around and definitely my favorite at Stroudsmoor. The weather was great and the ceremony was beautiful. After they finally got the candles lit and said their vows, they shared their first kiss and husband and wife. Yay!! After the ceremony, we stuck around in the woods to get a few formals before heading down the the reception. The reception was a fun one. Their first dance had a bit of extra “Wow” because once Felicia and Michael started dancing, the floor filled with a cloud of “smoke”. It was beautiful. The DJ kept the guests dancing throughout the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better day….or a better couple. Thank you for allowing us to capture the memories of one of the biggest days of your life. We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
