When Amanda and the groom’s mother Ellie told us that the wedding was going to take place on a moving train, we pretty much insisted that they book us for a wedding film! The opportunity for such a unique wedding does not come along that often. And boy did it pay off.

If you haven’t been to Jim Thorpe, PA then you are missing out on the coolest, most scenic city in the Pocono region. There is so much preserved history and wonderful landscapes encapsulated in such an almost magical place. In fact, the “wedding train” passed right by the entrance to Glen Onoko falls, one of the most exhilarating waterfall hikes in Pennsylvania.

The ceremony on the train went perfectly and we spent a fun session visiting all of the quaint landmarks in the town. The reception at St.Clair Fish & Game was decked out in stunning lights and drapery, toped off with perfectly white authentic ostrich feathers! The song the couple picked for their Same Day Edit was so in step with the laid back and fun newlyweds that it made the film just flow onto the editing bay.
