Engagement shoots are always a good time! \u00a0First off, as a photographer in the Lehigh Valley, I love to get out of the Allentown area and do a totally different location for a shoot. \u00a0I love new things and new ideas. \u00a0Secondly, I love meeting and getting to know the couples before the big day. \u00a0It really seems to relax them and give them familiarity of my style and what I’m looking for. \u00a0So once the big day comes, its second nature to be in front of the camera and they won’t even know I’m there. \u00a0Though for some couples, they just feel relaxed right from the start. \u00a0That is exactly how my shoot with Ashley and Peter went. \u00a0I barely had to give them direction. \u00a0They were just meant to be in front of a camera. \u00a0We had their engagement shoot at Sweetwater Farm<\/a>. \u00a0 It’s a beautiful Bed and Breakfast in Glen Mills, Pa. \u00a0They also have Grace Winery, which is the newest addition of Sweetwater Farm. \u00a0They chose this location because this is where their wedding will be held. \u00a0They are having both their ceremony and reception on premise. \u00a0From the looks of it, it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding ceremony. \u00a0I have posted a few of my favorite photos from the day.<\/p>\n

There are many reasons it’s important to take engagement photos once you make it official. As a couple who likely has never been photographed professionally before, the engagement session is one of the greatest services you and your fianc\u00e9 can take advantage of prior to your wedding. Some couples may feel it’s a waste of time or isn’t necessary, but there are many valuable reasons why you’ll benefit from utilizing this opportunity.<\/p>\n

Establishing a relationship with your photographer before your wedding will make a difference in the outcome of your wedding photos. Spend about an hour or two getting to know your pro, listening to them, having fun with them, and then get photographed. They’ll take note of how you interact with each other, your individual personalities and even your quirks.
