Boudoir photography is intimate, tasteful, romantic, yet sexy and seductive images\u00a0of women (and occasionally men or couples). \u00a0Women are most commonly photographed in lingerie. \u201cBoudoir\u201d is the french term for a woman\u2019s private\u00a0room, dressing room or bedroom, which is the most common place, along with hotel suites, to take these kinds of images.<\/p>\n

Boudoir sessions are very popular among brides, who often have an album of boudoir style photographs made as a present for their soon to be husbands. Images like this are also rapidly gained popularity and are\u00a0fashionable\u00a0as gifts for anniversaries, Valentines Day, birthdays, maternity, body change or alteration (such as breast augmentation or weight loss) and for servicemen and women overseas.<\/p>\n
