Few weddings have ever been as true to Bethlehem’s culture as Amanda and Kyle’s beautiful celebration. Not only was their wedding a “Something Borrowed, Something Brewed”, which was appropriate for a city whose most popular restaurant might be the Bethlehem Brew Works, but Amanda and Kyle broke out their Musikfest mugs for their creative session and post-ceremony celebrations! I could not be more thrilled with the originality and sense of humor from one of the most perfectly paired couples I have met. I hope their Brewery-tour-based honeymoon was full of happiness and hops, and best of wishes on their wonderful adventure together.

Corrina and Chris Wedding at Riverview Country Club

Corrina and Chris had a beautiful wedding a few weeks ago at Riverview Country Club, with the full Bar None package. We started off the day at the Hampton Inn located in Easton, Pa. Thats where Trai and I met up with Corrina and the bridesmaids. Before we left the hotel, Corrina and her father shed a few tears during the father-daughter first reveal. Her father was blown away by how beautiful his daughter looked. Then we headed over to their ceremony at the gorgeous outdoor ceremony site at Riverview. Its such a beautiful venue, making for a picture perfect evening which included lots of great food, laughs, dancing and a perfect sunset.

Veronica and Jody Destination Wedding at Montego Bay, Jamaica

I’ve been looking forward to Veronica and Jody’s wedding for a number of months. I’ve never been to Jamaica for a destination wedding, so I was very anxious to get on that plane two weeks ago. Wow, was it beautiful. Everything was beautiful about their wedding!! Their ceremony was right on the beach at the Iberostar Resort. The waves were softly crashing on the sand while they were saying their vows. Jody couldn’t keep his eyes off Veronica. It was so adorable. After their ceremony, we spent some time taking photos on the beach during sunset, before heading to their dinner reception. For those of you who don’t know, Jamaican food is amazing! It was truly a sad day when we had to board our flight back to New York. Below, I have some of my favorite photos from throughout the day.

Few of the couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing have been as sweet and gentle as our most recent couple, Gia and Justin. They had their beautiful wedding at DeSales University from start to finish, and it was nothing short of spectacular. While we had the season working against us with an inconveniently early sunset, we made some stunning silhouettes against the stained glass of the church, and enjoyed some comfy moments near the university fireplace. I think we captured some beautiful memories, and wish Gia and Justin all the best in their endeavors as husband and wife!

Kensi and Tom’s wedding was one of my favorite this year. Both with such kind and sweet personalities, I cannot imagine a couple that is a more perfect match. Watching them together, you could see how deep their love for each other runs, and I feel so blessed that I got to be a part of such an important day for them. It was full of love and lots of laughter, smiles and happy tears. Its weddings like this one that makes me love what I do, and I hope they are as happy with the photos as I am!

I had the pleasure of shooting Amanda and Mark’s Country Rustic Wedding at the end of September, and I don’t think we could have had better weather! It was a beautifully warm and sunny fall day, which fit just perfectly with their friendly personalities. Between the muscle cars, cowboy boots, and corn fields, we had a wonderfully fun day capturing all the lovely details of this sweet couple, and all the special moments in between. Ashley and Peter Engagement Shoot at Sweetwater Farms

Engagement shoots are always a good time! First off, as a photographer in the Lehigh Valley, I love to get out of the Allentown area and do a totally different location for a shoot. I love new things and new ideas. Secondly, I love meeting and getting to know the couples before the big day. It really seems to relax them and give them familiarity of my style and what I’m looking for. So once the big day comes, its second nature to be in front of the camera and they won’t even know I’m there. Though for some couples, they just feel relaxed right from the start. That is exactly how my shoot with Ashley and Peter went. I barely had to give them direction. They were just meant to be in front of a camera. We had their engagement shoot at Sweetwater Farm. It’s a beautiful Bed and Breakfast in Glen Mills, Pa. They also have Grace Winery, which is the newest addition of Sweetwater Farm. They chose this location because this is where their wedding will be held. They are having both their ceremony and reception on premise. From the looks of it, it’s going to be a gorgeous wedding ceremony. I have posted a few of my favorite photos from the day.

There are many reasons it’s important to take engagement photos once you make it official. As a couple who likely has never been photographed professionally before, the engagement session is one of the greatest services you and your fiancé can take advantage of prior to your wedding. Some couples may feel it’s a waste of time or isn’t necessary, but there are many valuable reasons why you’ll benefit from utilizing this opportunity.

Establishing a relationship with your photographer before your wedding will make a difference in the outcome of your wedding photos. Spend about an hour or two getting to know your pro, listening to them, having fun with them, and then get photographed. They’ll take note of how you interact with each other, your individual personalities and even your quirks. These details will help them capture moments on the wedding day that are unique to just the two of you.

Deanna and Mark at Monterre Vineyards

Deanna and Mark’s wedding was the most unique wedding I had this year. In late June, they decided to get married in Niagara Falls with a handful of friends and family members. They hired Bar None to film their ceremony (and later their reception), so I had the opportunity to go to the beautiful falls to help film with Trai. Then a few weeks later they held their reception at Monterre Vineyards in Orefield. They hired me to then photograph their special day. It was my first time there but hope not my last. Its a smaller venue (maximum 130 guests), but if you’re guests can all fit, I highly suggest you looking into having your reception there. I’m so appreciative to have had the opportunity to work both days for them (one as a filmmaker and one as a photographer). I wish them a lifetime of happiness. Laura & Michael at Hideaway Hills Golf Club

Last month I was hired to be the photographer for Laura and Michael’s wedding. Their wedding was probably the most picturesque wedding from start to finish. It was truly a photographers dream. Their ceremony was held at Paradise Falls, located in the Poconos, next to a waterfall. All I have to say is, Gorgeous!! We stayed there for some of their creative session before heading to Hideaway Hills Golf Club. It was my first wedding there but I certainly hope my next one sooner rather then later because it was perfect there. With the island green, hole ten tee off, great staff and delicious food, theres no way to go wrong. Plus it helps when you have an adorable couple like Laura and Michael. The love they showed for each other was magical. After hearing the story of how they ended up getting together, it was truly destiny. And when the ladybug showed up during the creative session….incredible!!

A few weeks ago I was privileged to be the photographer for Courtney and Ben. The ceremony was held at St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Church in Bethlehem, Pa. It was a really cute church with beautiful light coming through the side windows. After the ceremony the whole bridal party took a trip back to high school…well Ben and Courtney’s high school. They both attended Notre Dame High School when they were younger and it also happened to be where they first met. We walked around the school and they were mentioning some of the memories they had. Its was pretty neat to go down memory lane with them. After the creative session, we went to the Event Center at Blue Grillhouse for the reception. Caroline and the crew did an amazing job as always making sure the venue looked beautiful and ran smoothly. Their day was quite unique with the creative session and I love getting opportunities to be creative with the photography. Below I have uploaded a few of my favorite photos from the day.
