Afterwards, we all headed downstairs and outside for the outdoor ceremony overlooking the lake. It was a beautiful lakeside ceremony.  After they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, we took them to the lake for some formals before heading over to the reception hall.  We even got a bonus sunset during their photos!  The reception was pretty awesome and very lively with the Gypsy Wisdom band rocking all night! Nicole and Bryn, thank you for choosing Bar None as your wedding photographer!

The day started out nice at Bear Creek.  The girls started in the Bear Creek Spa before heading up to their suite to finish getting ready.  The guys goofed around a little in their NFL jerseys before getting all dapper for the ceremony. When we arrived at Saint Thomas More the sky was clear but things turned a bit to the dreary side during the ceremony.  After they said their “I Do’s” and we took some family formals it was pouring outside.  They were debating if they should cancel the creative session at Bear Creek Mountain Resort lake and go somewhere that would keep them dry, like the covered bridge.  Zachary checked a weather app and made the decision to continue straight to Bear Creek.

While rain was falling down during our commute, we arrived at the resort and the rain stopped with just enough time to capture some beautiful formals with Zachary and Laura. Once the reception started, the crowd never left the dance floor.  Between Our own Bar None DJ, the “Moondogs” Band, Zachary himself DJing, and Zachary and Lauras friends using the Moondogs equipment and playing a song themselves, how COULD the dance floor be empty.  The night was amazing and we want to Thank You for hiring Bar None to capture your memories.

 We had a great time photographing their wedding.  Lauren, John and the bridal party were a lot of fun throughout the day.  Great group of people.  I forgot to mention, during the reception, we even got to capture the sunset.  It was a perfect day!  We are honored to have been trusted to capture all of their memories.  Congratulations!

The ceremony was very nice.  It took place in front of the gazebo near the stream.  You could truly see the love in Johnny’s eyes while Carly was walking down the aisle towards him.  Afterwards, it was getting a bit hot outside so we took a small break to cool off before getting back to the formals. We also had a small window of sunlight, after it rained after dinner, to catch the sunset light.  The evening went off without a hitch.  The night was filled with lots of dancing and desserts (which Carly’s mother handmade).

The women got ready in their Ledgemere Suite and the men at the Highland Cottage.  Once they all were ready, we headed to the Ridgecrest Ceremony site.  Natalie had a very special moment before the ceremony when she and her father saw each other for the first time that day.  There were a few tears shed by both individuals.  Once everyone gained their composure, they started the ceremony.  It was a gorgeous ceremony.  The vista is magnificent and the weather was great for a fall day.

When the ceremony ended, we took a few formals before heading to the Downriver Brewing Company for a little reception.  They rented out the whole brewery for the night so everyone could celebrate their marriage.  There was a lot of dancing, delicious food, some drinking and a room filled with lots of love. The day may not have been exactly what Natalie and Craig envisioned for their wedding day, but it sure was a perfect wedding day.

The day took place along the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.  Lauren and Derek got dressed at
the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club before heading down the road to the venue.  Though before doing so, Lauren had a first look with her father.  It was a very touching moment when he saw her dressed like a princess, about to get married.

      After that moment, Lauren then proceeded to have another first look.  This time it was with her soon-to-be husband.  We set them up along the Chesapeake Bay.  It was a beautiful scene for them to share this moment together.  You could feel the love that they had for each other. They couldn’t wait to officially be husband and wife.

        The ceremony started off perfectly until the clouds started coming in from the bay.  While they were saying their “I Do’s”, you could see lightning in the distance.  Luckily the rain held off until the kiss and a few formals were taken after the ceremony. Though that didnt stop anything….  The party only just got started.

      Everyone went inside for the festivities.  There was so much love, laughter and fun during the reception.  The dance floor was packed the whole night.  Literally, the whole night.  It was awesome!  To make the day even more perfect then what it was so far, the rain stopped and out came the sun just in time for a gorgeous sunset!!!  What a day.  I’m very lucky to have been hired to capture these special moments for the beautiful couple.  I wish them the best life has to offer.

Angelina and Mark both got ready at their parents house before heading to the ceremony, which was held at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Brodheadsville. The church was very pretty.  The ceremony was perfect.  Angelina looked amazing, next to her father, when she was walking closer and closer down the aisle towards Mark.  

After the ceremony, we headed to Hideaway Hills for their creative session before heading to each parents house for family formals.  When we arrived at Marks parents house, we were invited to sit down, relax and enjoy their traditional polish food.  We stuffed ourselves with delicious pierogies.  Boy, do I LOVE pierogies.

Once we were done, we headed back to Hideaway Hills for the reception.  The crowd sure looked like they had a blast.  The DJ even sang a song at one point of the night.  The night was filled with love, laughter and a ton of fun.  I’m so happy we were hired to capture the memories for Angelina and Mark.  They were such a cute couple.  We wish them many many years of happiness.

We were hired to photograph their destination wedding at the Royal Lahaina in Maui Hawaii in June. Well, just as you would expect, it was nothing but magical.  The day was beautiful.  It doesnt get hot in Hawaii, so I wasn’t worried about that.  We just weren’t sure about a passing shower.  The day started at The Hair Hale before heading to their room to get the finishing touches.  Though before we arrived back with the girls we headed to Cory’s room to get some shots of the guys.

Their ceremony setting was one of the best that I’ve photographed.  Overlooking Lanai and Moloka’i in the Pacific Ocean, it was absolutely gorgeous.  Cory was in awe when he first watched Jenna walking down the aisle.  And Jenna….she had a huge smile on her face when she was walking closer to Cory. You didnt need to see anything else throughout the day. Their eyes said it all at that moment.  You knew they were meant for one another.

After the ceremony, we took them out on the beach for some photographs (and later sunset photos) before they freshened up for the Lu’au.  I’ve never been to a Lu’au so I was very excited.  I didnt know exactly what to expect but it blew away the little that I did expect.  The food was terrific.  Even the Poi was edible. Haha.  The energy was exciting.  The performers were great.  The night was perfect!  I am very honored that Jenna and Cory chose Bar None for their destination wedding in Hawaii.  They are an incredibly sweet, warm, hospitable, thoughtful couple that we were lucky enough to work with and they deserves the best that life can give them.
