Jamie and Ryan Wedding at Longswamp Bed & Breakfast

Neither Rain nor Shine would stop Jamie and Ryans Wedding this past fall. The day started out nice, but once we left the salon in the morning, things turned a bit to the dreary side. As the girls were getting ready, they were debating if they should cancel the first look at Bear Creek Mountain Resort lake. While rain was pouring down, they decided to make a bold decision and do the meet. When we arrived at the resort, ss if they could control the weather, the rain stopped with just enough time to capture them seeing each other for the first time. It was a great moment for them to share together. We even had enough time to get some other formals done as well. Then off we went to Longswamp Bed and Breakfast for their ceremony and reception. Though, they escaped the rain for the formals, they couldn’t hold off the rain for the remainder of the day. So they had to move the ceremony into the barn. Everything turned out beautiful, as if it were planned to be inside the whole time. Once the ceremony was complete, we pretty much rolled right into the reception. This crowd never left the dance floor. I don’t remember a time that it was even half empty. Well, I take that back. About half way through the reception, the dance floor was cleared out because their daughter had sung a song for them. She had a great performance and she even brought a few tears to some of the guests eyes. The night was great and we want to Thank You for hiring Bar None to capture your memories.

What a day for a wedding!! It was such a perfect day for Kaitlyn and Ben’s wedding. Not too hot, cold, nor rainy. Perfect amount of clouds in the sky, and a beautiful venue. Their wedding took place on a family friends farm near Harrisburg, PA. The ceremony was down the road, though on the same farmland, as bride prep and the reception. All the guests were taken from the reception site to the ceremony via a tractor ride. How cool is that! After the ceremony, we did a few formal photos at the ceremony site before heading back to the huge tent that was put up for the reception. The night was far from dull. Some played a hammer and nail game, which I believe was called “Stump”. There were keg stands, singing, a photo booth, and a full dance floor. Then to top it off, Kaitlyn jumped into the pool with her wedding dress on at the very end of the night!! Such a fun wedding.

A few weeks ago, we had the rare honor to be the photographer of a winter wedding. I was very unsure how it would turn out due to the uncertainties of the weather. I was certainly hoping for snow since the outdoor photos would look quite dull without the pretty colors of spring, summer and fall. Well……we got what we wanted. As we arrived at the church for the ceremony it started snowing and continued through the whole night. It wasn’t just ordinary snow, it was really large pretty snow flakes. Jodee and Brandon had fun playing at the farm in the barn and with their snowmobile. Afterward, we headed to CJ Hummels near Hamburg, Pa. The day was awesome! Not only was the day perfect due to the photos in the snow, they also had a choreographed dance which they did just after their “I Do’s”, and another bridal party dance after they cut their cake. Thank You for allowing us to be apart of your day.

Fun! That’s the first word that comes to mind when we think back on Jessica and Vince’s wedding. Though it wasn’t just fun, it was a romantic and beautiful celebration. With such a great group of family and friends, we knew from the start, it was going to be a great day. The women started their day off at Image Hair Studio in Kutztown, Pa. Afterwards we headed down the road to St. Mary’s Church in Kutztown for some final touches and of course the ceremony. The reception was held at the Emerald Valley Farm in Hamburg, Pa. The fun started off right when you got to cocktail hour with two games of Corn Hole all set up for the guests. The venue was a beautiful Barn with a very high ceiling. Which was a good thing because both Jessica and Vincent were tossed high into the air by a few of their guests at some point during the night. Also, as a result of Jessica winning the dollar dance collection, she was deemed in charge of the funds on their upcoming honeymoon… sorry Vincent 😉 And lastly, Mmmmmm… those cupcakes. The guests were treated to various flavors of delicious cupcakes. Not that we had any……

Lauren and David’s Wedding at Pine Brook Hollow

Lauren and David are one of those couples who, as soon as you meet them, you know you’re going to have a great time. Our day started bright and early with Lauren and her bridesmaids getting ready at Meera Salon and Day Spa in Whitehall. Once everyone was done, we all headed back to Pine Brook Hollow Tree Farm for the remainder of the day. Its a gorgeous setting with acres of Pine trees, rustic farm houses and massive open fields that really highlight the beauty of the Lehigh Valley’s rolling countryside.

Although the day was a bit rainy and quite cold, Lauren and David’s spirits were soaring high and every moment was filled with laughter and smiles. They had an outdoor ceremony which took place at the edge of a small pond. After the ceremony, Lauren and David’s intimate wedding party piled into the best man’s pickup truck so we could drive to some of their favorite spots to shoot some creative sessions. Piled high with bridesmaids and groomsmen, we drove from spot to spot on this gorgeous property for some really fantastic vistas. After our creative sessions ended, the gang headed back to the pond where a small tent was set up for the reception. With a couple of heat lamps and a dance floor in the middle, it didn’t take long for the party to kick off and everyone to warm up with some good food and great dancing. As the night came to a close this quaint little reception party lit up the edge of the pond like a warm lantern of love and happiness. A perfect ending to a perfect day.

Emily and George Wedding at Lydia Mountain

I was honored when Emily and George asked me to photograph their wedding, a few weeks ago, in the mountains of Virginia. Emily is from the lehigh valley area and George (Drew) from Georgia. So they thought it would be best to have a wedding somewhere in the middle so it would be easier for both families to attend their special day. They chose a beautiful rustic venue at the Lydia Mountain Lodge. It was gorgeous! They both got ready in log cabins right next to each other and their ceremony site was within walking distance. Unfortunately throughout the morning it was very foggy, so during the ceremony it wasn’t as picturesque as it had the potential to be. After the ceremony, we walked around the area taking some photos before walking to the reception site. I had a feeling throughout the day that this bridal party was going to be on the dance floor all night, and they proved me correct. They were a really fun bunch and partied all night long. The dance floor was never close to being empty. Thank You again for hiring Bar None for your wedding photography. Congratulations Emily and George!

I’ve been waiting for this wedding for quite some time. I haven’t photographed at the Glasbern Inn before, and when I met Amber and her mother for their walk-through a few weeks prior to their wedding I was really excited for the opportunity to do so. Their whole day took place at Glasbern. Amber got ready in a suite at the Packhouse, while Cory was at the Stable House. Before the ceremony I took a few fun photos with the girls. Boy, were they entertaining to be with. As the sun was getting lower in the sky, they held their ceremony outside on the lawn. It was one of the prettiest ceremony sites that I’ve been to. Once the family formals were over, we got lucky to catch the sun setting over the hills. Then it was time to party and none better then the band UUU with their high energy to make that happen. The day was absolutely perfect. I had so much fun with Amber, Cory and their family and friends. I wish them the best!

I had the pleasure of shooting Amanda and Mark’s Country Rustic Wedding at the end of September, and I don’t think we could have had better weather! It was a beautifully warm and sunny fall day, which fit just perfectly with their friendly personalities. After having shot Ashley’s and Peters engagement session a little while ago, I could see that their love and excitement for each other was just perfect. A perfect match! The way that they steal little glances from each other and have a giddy excitement when next to each other. I couldn’t wait for their wedding and I’m very grateful that they chose me to be the photographer of their wedding. Both their ceremony and reception was held at Sweetwater Farm Bed and Breakfast in Glen Mills. Its always nice when the couple has everything at one location. Its a lot stress for both bride and groom and great for the photographer. The day turned out gorgeous and the reception was so much fun with the band “Imagine” keeping everyone dancing throughout the night. Below, I have a few of my favorite photos from the day.

Jessica & Fred at the Inn at Bally Springs

Jessica and Fred hired Bar None to photograph and DJ their wedding last month. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Inn at Bally Springs. With the babbling brook running next to the ceremony and the pretty fall leaves, its the ideal place for an outdoor ceremony. It was my first time working at this venue and I hope I get to have many more. The place is gorgeous! Its not for every wedding since its a smaller venue (holds a maximum of 150 guests), but for those of you who have just the right amount of guests, I highly recommend it. Since the reception was at the same place as the ceremony, we had our creative session on site, which made it nice for everybody. Jessica was an amazing bride. Besides being pretty, she also had a lot of willpower. It certainly wasn’t the warmest autumn day. I had a jacket on and i was cold, but I didnt hear even one comment about she being cold. I posted a few of my favorite photos from the day.
