Alissa and Doug Wedding at Shawnee Inn

Alissa and Doug hired us last summer for some engagement photos in the Poconos at Shawnee Inn. After the photoshoot we had a great feeling about their upcoming wedding the following year. While up there, we had an opportunity to get to know them and scout the resort for some great photos since their wedding was at the same location. In the morning while Alissa was doing some yoga with her girls, Doug and the guys had some fun hiking in the mountains close by the Inn. It was a great way for each to relax before the festivities began. They both got ready at the resort before Alissa and her dad walked down the aisle. Their ceremony and formals were held at the edge of the Delaware River, which made for some gorgeous photo opportunities. After all the photos were complete outside, we then headed to the resorts reception hall. The night basically started off with Dougs best man surprising him by singing a song he wrote. Then there was a photobooth for the guest to act silly, tons of dancing and then a late night snack for the guest to enjoy. What a fun time we all had!! Thank You for allowing Bar None to be a part of your day!

Jennifer and Levi and the Skytop Lodge

Jennifer and Levi hired all three of our services for their wedding day at the Skytop Lodge. We love getting to the Poconos whenever we get the chance. So we certainly were excited to spend the day there with them. The day was as gorgeous as their wedding! The vibrant colors Jennifer picked for their wedding was great. Very colorful, bright and fun! Their ceremony took place just beyond the stairs in the back of the lodge. It always turns out to be a very nice place for a wedding ceremony. After they said their “I Do’s” we took some formals and headed into the reception. The energy in the room was outstanding. All the guests sure seemed to have a fun time. They even had a special guest singer, their son Bentley, sing Toby Keiths song “Red, White and Blue”. First of all, he was adorable, and secondly, he killed it!! Great job Bentley! We’re very honored to be able to capture their wedding memories.

Alissa and Doug at Shawnee Inn Engagement

After getting to know them, I am so excited already to photograph Alissa and Doug’s wedding day next fall at Shawnee Inn. But for now, I was more than happy to capture the engagement celebration between these two.

This would be the first time I’ve been to the Shawnee Inn and I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as scenery and photo opportunities. I had nothing to worry about. I already knew the couple would make for some great photos, but to my pleasant surprise, there were numerous beautiful scenes for us at Shawnee Inn. So many, that we didn’t even use them all. We’ll save some for the wedding!

The Day of the photoshoot was a chilly, windy day, but we persevered. These two were troopers and even though they were a bit cold, they knew how to model… or it came off that way! It was easy to get great shots because the love they had for each other was obvious and that came through to create great photos.

I’m very much looking forward to the wedding now. I had such a great time capturing their engagement celebration

Meghan and Seth’s Wedding at the Skytop Lodge

Meghan and Seth are truly soul mates. There is no question in my mind about these two and what the future holds for them. Meghan was full of energy in the morning of her wedding. She smiled ear to ear, her eyes sparkled with excitement, it was truly contagious. Seth and his guys, on the other hand, were just plain goofy. Between playing on the playground, golfing, and pretending they were the Penn State offense, they were quite fun to photograph. Goofy Yes, though when it came down to it, there was no kidding about how much they loved each other. It was truly remarkable to see the emotion between them when they saw each other during their first look. These two will be together for an eternity, I have no doubts.

Que & Jon at the Skytop Lodge in the Poconos

Que and Jon had a magnificent wedding at the gorgeous Skytop Lodge in the Poconos. It was actually my first time photographing a wedding there, but luckily not my last. It immediately became my favorite venue in the poconos. Starting off the days events, Que and Jon had their Tea Ceremony in the beautiful Lodge Library. Afterwards, we took some photos on premise until the horse and carriage picked up the girls and headed to Leavitt Falls for their ceremony. Wow!! What a pretty ceremony site! Once the ceremony was over, the newly married couple were again taken off in the carriage back to the Lodge. The reception followed in the Evergreen Ballroom. The whole day turned out prefect and I’m honored to have been their photographer. Below, I have posted a few of my favorite photos.
