Few weddings have ever been as true to Bethlehem’s culture as Amanda and Kyle’s beautiful celebration. Not only was their wedding a “Something Borrowed, Something Brewed”, which was appropriate for a city whose most popular restaurant might be the Bethlehem Brew Works, but Amanda and Kyle broke out their Musikfest mugs for their creative session and post-ceremony celebrations! I could not be more thrilled with the originality and sense of humor from one of the most perfectly paired couples I have met. I hope their Brewery-tour-based honeymoon was full of happiness and hops, and best of wishes on their wonderful adventure together.

Geniene and Andrew Saucon Valley Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure to photograph Andrew and Geniene’s wedding last month. I have known them for a number of years and I was honored that they asked me to be their photographer. The day got started at Hotel Bethlehem, where Geniene was getting ready with her close friends. At the same time, Andrew was getting ready with one of our own, Trai Guzie (Bar None Cinematographer). When hair, make-up and the dress were all in place, we headed to a private residence for their first look. Out of all the years I have been a photographer, this was the most touching first meet that I have done. Andrew and Geniene have a special love for each other and it certainly showed at that moment. He was in awe of Geniene and how beautiful she looked. After we took a few formals we headed to the ceremony and reception site. It always a nice choice to have an outdoor ceremony. It makes for some really nice photos. The night was filled with tons of fun and lots of love. I with Andrew and Geniene a lifetime of happiness.

Erin and Kevin’s day was such a pleasure to photograph. I was able to photograph Erin in the comfort of her childhood home, then I was stunned by the gorgeous Chestnut Hill Church in Coopersburg. It only got better when we arrived at Saucon Valley Acres for their reception, where they had several surprises to kept their guests entertained throughout the evening. We had a guest Karaoke Singer, whom they love to hear sing at the Copperhead Grill, that Erin and Kevin asked to perform for them. We even had Erin sing the song “At Last” to Kevin near the end of the reception. The guests went wild! I had a huge smile on my face the whole time, and I’m truly thankful that Erin and Kevin decided to have Bar None photograph their fun, memorable day.

Megan and Rich at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall

Megan & Rich were married a few weeks ago and I was privileged enough to be their photographer. It was an absolutely perfect day; not too hot – not to cold and I had a beautiful couple to photograph. The whole day was relaxed and easy going! Megan went to Shear Brilliance in Tannersville to get her hair styled and make-up applied before heading to her grandmothers house to finish up getting dressed. Rich and the guys got ready at their house before playing with their motorcycles. Once everyone was ready, we headed to a cute little church in nearby Kunkletown for their ceremony. After they “tied the knot”, we headed to beautiful Beltzville Lake for some sunset formals. I wish I had another hour for their creative session. I couldn’t get enough of photographing them. The photos really got me excited and the more and more photos I took you could tell how much they adore each other. Once the sun set, off we went to their reception at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall. They partied and danced all night long with Rockin Ramaley providing a great atmosphere. Here are a few of my favorite photos from throughout the day.

Jenna and Dave were such a fun couple to shoot on their big day! With such a large and enthusiastic bridal party, it was hard not to be in the party-spirit, and the great energy lasted from start to finish. While it may have been a little chilly, we couldn’t have hoped for better weather, and got some beautiful shots of the happy couple at the lovely Woodstone Country Club. They had a great live band who complimented the crowd very well. Boy, did this group like to dance! I very much enjoyed photographing their wedding day. I hope that their life as newlyweds is going to be as great as they were to shoot for!

Jena and Joshua at Bear Creek Mountain Resort

A few weeks ago, I was the photographer for the lovely Jena and Joshua’s wedding at Bear Creek, where they held their celebration from start to finish. Alas, there were unfortunate weather circumstances, but that just made us push our creativity to the brink! Despite the rainy day, we came out with some great portraits indoors and under various coverings. We spent the whole day laughing, smiling, and having fun with their wonderful friends and family, and Jena and Joshua seemed to have a blast! It was very much a perfect candlelit evening, and these are just a few of the best shots we got from the night.

Deanna and Mark at Monterre Vineyards

Deanna and Mark’s wedding was the most unique wedding I had this year. In late June, they decided to get married in Niagara Falls with a handful of friends and family members. They hired Bar None to film their ceremony (and later their reception), so I had the opportunity to go to the beautiful falls to help film with Trai. Then a few weeks later they held their reception at Monterre Vineyards in Orefield. They hired me to then photograph their special day. It was my first time there but hope not my last. Its a smaller venue (maximum 130 guests), but if you’re guests can all fit, I highly suggest you looking into having your reception there. I’m so appreciative to have had the opportunity to work both days for them (one as a filmmaker and one as a photographer). I wish them a lifetime of happiness.
