A rare occurrence happened for Bar None with the last wedding of the year for us. It snowed all day!!! We’ve had a flurry or two before, but nothing with accumulation. Well for Paz and Aaron we certainly had snow, and it was beautiful! Paz started her day at American Hairlines in Bethlehem, before heading to Hotel Bethlehem where she met up with Christina to apply her make-up and to finish up getting ready. Aaron started his day off with his family, where he was tuning up his voice for the ceremony. He and Paz both love to sing, so they wrote songs for each other as their vows. The songs were beautiful! If you haven’t watched their wedding film yet, please do. The song used for the highlight film was the song Paz wrote and sang for Aaron. After the ceremony at Lehigh University, we headed back down the mountain to Edge Restaurant for their reception. Due to the snow coming down even harder and the roads getting a little slick, the attendance was a little lower then originally anticipated. Though there was slightly less people, there sure wasn’t any loss of the love they received. The night was filled with singing, dancing, excellent food, and even a little cake fight. Christine was one of the nicest women I have met, and her bridesmaids were equally matched. An animal-loving bunch, there was no absence of furry friends to cuddle and kiss in the Peters household, which made it wonderfully warm and welcoming. Chirstine and Filipe chose a lovely location for their ceremony, a church in downtown Bethlehem, which made for a perfect creative session near all the colonial buildings alongside Monocacy Creek. We then cooled off from the summer heat in the beautiful Hotel Bethlehem, where they held quite a rockin’ reception. Christine even threw in some personal surprises for her new husband, including a zombie-cake just for him in honor of his love for The Walking Dead. We recently did a wedding at The Hotel Bethlehem. The couple asked me to make sure I checked out the flower arrangements, both in the reception hall and in the ceremony because they were in love with them. So with no hesitation I did and they were gorgeous! I made sure I took note of who the florist was because I wanted to show them off to other potential clients of ours. Turns out the florist was Pondelek’s Florist & Gifts which is located in Hellertown. Bonnie and the crew do an amazing job with each and every flower arrangement.
