Ashley and Michael Wedding at Fearless Firehall

Ashley and Michael are such a cute couple. As the day went on, we realized just how strong their love is for each other by observing their interactions. Ashley seemed surprisingly calm during prep which I’m sure was a result of being surrounded by awesome friends and family. After the beautiful ceremony we rushed off to the Allentown Rose Garden for some fun photos and romantic couple shots. Then off to the reception at the Fearless Fire Company. Something beautiful happened about midway through the reception that you don’t see very often. Ashley serenaded Michael with a song. It was such a special moment. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place. Then following that, after the garter and bouquet toss, there was Michael’s dance for Ashley. It was like… well, an scene from Magic Mike! I’ll leave it at that. We were grateful they were up for just a few evening photos before calling it a night. We wish you the best and thank you for allowing Bar None to be part of your special day.

Brittany and David are such a cute couple. I was hired last fall to be their photographer for both their engagement shoot and wedding. Now, I’m a huge Eagles fan, but they are such a cute couple that you can forgive them for being Steelers fans! Actually since their wedding, the Steelers have been on a roll with Big Ben making QB history with 12 touchdowns in two games. Maybe every so often they should renew their vows to ensure the Steelers a good season. So their wedding took place at the beautiful Bear Creek Mountain Resort. It was a perfect fall day and it lent itself to a touching first look by the pond. We then went right into a blue sky accented ceremony at the Woodland Ballroom site. Afterwards we took a few formals before heading into the reception for a night of fun! The night came to an end with all their family and friends watching the “Same Day Edit” from the day, which was also produced by Bar None!

Angel 34 Foundation

This last week, I had the honor of photographing a charity function for the Angel 34 Foundation. Its always so inspiring to see people donating their hard earned money and time for charity. It was a pretty fun time with a band playing great music, a silent auction, delicious cupcakes from Granny Schmidts bakery, Balloons from Balloon Works, and some wine and hors d’oeuvres. All the decor and lighting of the event was supplied by Omnivent and there was even an amazing vacation prize given by VIP Vacations.

So let me tell you a little about this great foundation. I have taken a few paragraphs from their website and added them below.

Since its establishment in 2003, Angel 34 is committed to bring hope and healing to the children and families of those affected by childhood cancer. Thanks to the support of our partners, sponsors and volunteers we have made great strides, but there is much more to do in a race we must win…for the sake of our children.

Days after her 13th birthday, Nicole was diagnosed with cancer. Having witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of cancer on families, the financial burden that cancer carries with it and the hopelessness that can come with the disease, Nicole was moved with the desire to start a foundation at the age of 14. Out of compassion for every child she came across, she vowed that she could make a difference in that child’s life.

It was her wish that every child have their own angel during their time of need and if possible to share her angel with them.

“It’s not about me and never will be about me, it’s about those children who will go through what I’ve been through.” – Nicole Sheriff

Angel 34, with the help of thousands like you, has continued her legacy to help children and families, pursue advancements in research and treatments and find a cure.

Elizabeth and Mark at The Barristers Club

Elizabeth and Mark’s wedding day was one of those days that reminded me why I love my job as much as I do. There was no stress, no craziness, just an overwhelming amount of love, and it was an amazing day to be a part of. The day was one of those perfect end of summer days. The weather was mild and the leaves were starting to turn. Elizabeth started her day getting hair and make-up done at Eskandalo in Bethlehem, pa. Then off to her house for she and the girls to get their dresses on. Their ceremony was held at the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, which was actually the first church that I have ever been a photographer, many years ago. After they tied the knot, we headed to the Allentown Rose Garden for formals before heading to the Barristers Club in Allentown. Its always a beautiful venue for a wedding reception! Melissa & Bob at Architects Golf Club

Yet again, I was privileged to be the photographer of a couple who received both engagement and wedding photography from Bar None. I still remember when Melissa and Bob met me at Lockridge park for their engagement shoot. Melissa was very nervous and was worried about how to pose, since she had never done anything like that before. Bob on the otherhand, was very tranquil. He acted as if that was his job. Fast forward a few months later and Melissa had transformed into a beautiful model. Knowing just what to do and how to stand. She had a certain confidence about her on her wedding day. She was relaxed during the photos, knowing that she had just married her best friend. I have posted a few of my favorite photos from their wedding at Architects Golf Club.

Melissa & Brandon – The Meadows

Early this month, I was the wedding photographer for Melissa and Brandon. They looked adorable together. You could certainly see the love they share in the photography I took. I was worried for them because we had two days of rain leading up to their wedding day, but the day turned out gorgeous for an outside ceremony. Both the ceremony and reception were held at The Meadows in Hellertown, PA. It’s always nice to do weddings there. The facility has always been one of the best around and the staff very attentive. I have posted a few of my favorite photos of the day.
