Katherine and I were emailing back and forth for a little over a month (maybe more) trying to lock down a date to have their engagement shoot. Each date we set it was either snowing or had just snowed. We were hoping the snow was going to melt when we first started talking about the shoot but every week…snow. So we decided to embrace it and make it part of their shoot. I was so happy that we did. Katherine and Gabe were such a fun couple…and very adorable together to say the least. I am so excited for their wedding in a few months at the Event Center at Blue Grillhouse.

Brittany and David at Bear Creek

Brittany and David are such a cute couple. I was hired last fall to be their photographer for both their engagement shoot and wedding. Now, I’m a huge Eagles fan, but they are such a cute couple that you can forgive them for being Steelers fans! Actually since their wedding, the Steelers have been on a roll with Big Ben making QB history with 12 touchdowns in two games. Maybe every so often they should renew their vows to ensure the Steelers a good season. So their wedding took place at the beautiful Bear Creek Mountain Resort. It was a perfect fall day and it lent itself to a touching first look by the pond. We then went right into a blue sky accented ceremony at the Woodland Ballroom site. Afterwards we took a few formals before heading into the reception for a night of fun! The night came to an end with all their family and friends watching the “Same Day Edit” from the day, which was also produced by Bar None!

Angel 34 Foundation

This last week, I had the honor of photographing a charity function for the Angel 34 Foundation. Its always so inspiring to see people donating their hard earned money and time for charity. It was a pretty fun time with a band playing great music, a silent auction, delicious cupcakes from Granny Schmidts bakery, Balloons from Balloon Works, and some wine and hors d’oeuvres. All the decor and lighting of the event was supplied by Omnivent and there was even an amazing vacation prize given by VIP Vacations.

So let me tell you a little about this great foundation. I have taken a few paragraphs from their website and added them below.

Since its establishment in 2003, Angel 34 is committed to bring hope and healing to the children and families of those affected by childhood cancer. Thanks to the support of our partners, sponsors and volunteers we have made great strides, but there is much more to do in a race we must win…for the sake of our children.

Days after her 13th birthday, Nicole was diagnosed with cancer. Having witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of cancer on families, the financial burden that cancer carries with it and the hopelessness that can come with the disease, Nicole was moved with the desire to start a foundation at the age of 14. Out of compassion for every child she came across, she vowed that she could make a difference in that child’s life.

It was her wish that every child have their own angel during their time of need and if possible to share her angel with them.

“It’s not about me and never will be about me, it’s about those children who will go through what I’ve been through.” – Nicole Sheriff

Angel 34, with the help of thousands like you, has continued her legacy to help children and families, pursue advancements in research and treatments and find a cure.

Gia and Justin at DeSales University

Few of the couples I’ve had the pleasure of photographing have been as sweet and gentle as our most recent couple, Gia and Justin. They had their beautiful wedding at DeSales University from start to finish, and it was nothing short of spectacular. While we had the season working against us with an inconveniently early sunset, we made some stunning silhouettes against the stained glass of the church, and enjoyed some comfy moments near the university fireplace. I think we captured some beautiful memories, and wish Gia and Justin all the best in their endeavors as husband and wife!

Lia and Zach are such a sweet couple! I met them over a year ago at a memorial day party that I was photographing for another client. Who knew that a few months later, Lia would contact me about being the photographer for their upcoming wedding. I was very much appreciative of them wanting me to capture their special day. Boy was I looking forward to their wedding for quite sometime. First of all, it was a fall wedding in the lehigh valley. Sometimes you forgot just how gorgeous it truly is in the fall! Then on top of that, they picked a great venue for their reception. Caroline and the crew at the Event Center at Blue are phenomenal at what they do. Their food and hospitality are arguably one the best complete packages in the valley. Their day was absolutely perfect and one that I wish didn’t have to end. Here are a few images we captured!

Besides getting lost and driving around the Kutztown country side (which might I add is beautiful), what a gorgeous fall day for an engagement shoot!! Paige and Justin hired me for their wedding next summer, so they wanted some engagement photos for their save-the-dates. Also, they wanted to get used to being in front of the camera in preparation for their wedding. Well, they didnt seem to need much direction. They warmed up to the camera pretty fast and seemed to enjoy their day together.

As a couple who likely has never been photographed professionally before, the engagement session is one of the greatest services you and your fiancé can take advantage of prior to your wedding. Kensi and Tom’s wedding was one of my favorite this year. Both with such kind and sweet personalities, I cannot imagine a couple that is a more perfect match. Watching them together, you could see how deep their love for each other runs, and I feel so blessed that I got to be a part of such an important day for them. It was full of love and lots of laughter, smiles and happy tears. Its weddings like this one that makes me love what I do, and I hope they are as happy with the photos as I am!

After having shot Ashley’s and Peters engagement session a little while ago, I could see that their love and excitement for each other was just perfect. A perfect match! The way that they steal little glances from each other and have a giddy excitement when next to each other. I couldn’t wait for their wedding and I’m very grateful that they chose me to be the photographer of their wedding. Both their ceremony and reception was held at Sweetwater Farm Bed and Breakfast in Glen Mills. Its always nice when the couple has everything at one location. Its a lot stress for both bride and groom and great for the photographer. The day turned out gorgeous and the reception was so much fun with the band “Imagine” keeping everyone dancing throughout the night. Below, I have a few of my favorite photos from the day.

Corrina and Chris Engagement Photography

Corrina and Chris chose to have their engagement shoot at a place that was very special to her. They were originally going to have their engagement shoot at a public location like the allentown fair. It sounded like a pretty unique idea but it had no meaning to them. Instead they chose a special place from Corrina’s childhood. The Laurys Station Fire Company was very close to her childhood home where she made so many neat memories while playing on the baseball field, nature trail and old playground. Its all built up with 3 new fields and a new playground for the kids, but some of the old things are still there. One being the fire company which her grandfather was a volunteer. I have posted a few of my favorite photos from the day.
