On February 25th we’ll be hosting our very own boutique bridal show from noon-2pm! Our show will only feature a limited amount of vendors coupled with film screenings at 12:40 and 1:40 of our Film products on the big screen in the auditorium. Best of all the event is FREE!!

Our films are meant to look like the films you see in the theaters, so screening them in a theater setting just makes sense! See 4 of our films on the big screen at the institute!

Sarah and Bill are one of my all time favorite couples. From the very beginning, when they told me of the unique plans they had for their intimate Quaker ceremony at the Hotel Bethlehem and their reception at ArtsQuest Center at Steelstacks, I knew this day was going to be amazing. And boy it did not disappoint.

When I met them for the pre-planning meeting, they offered for me to try some of the special indian dishes the chef had created for their reception. Wow! One of the best meals I have had in a while. The staff at ArtsQuest was excellent, and so was Freddie Frederick Jr. as always. It is always a pleasure to work with him and he had the party going strong the entire night.

Bethlehem plays a strong role in Sarah and Bill’s relationship, and I think that both the city and the couple are better for it. And I am now better for having the opportunity to tell their great story through this film.

Feb. 19th at the Crowne Plaza Cherry Hill WXTU 92.5 and WIRED 96.5 are hosting without a doubt the regions largest Bridal expo, the Philadelphia Bridal Show. We’re excited to announce we’ll be a participating vendor! Our Party Band The Friends with Benefits will be performing live at the show, in addition to our booth showcasing our Photography, Entertainment and Wedding Film services. We’re so excited to be a part of this great event!

We had a great time at the B104 Bridal Show! Over 100 Brides were in attendance. As usual energy level was high as Brides got information from the over 40 wedding vendors in attendance. To bring in the New Year, I had the honor of being the photographer for Cristen and Brent on New Years Eve.  They held their ceremony and reception at the always beautiful, always picturesque Bear Creek Mountain Resort.  If I had to choose one venue to always shoot weddings at, it would be there.  This was the second time I was Cristen and Brent’s Photographer.  Earlier this year, we had an engagement shoot at the Clover Hill Winery.  Judging by that shoot, I knew I was very lucky to be their photographer again.  They are such a beautiful couple.  Absolutely adorable together and when in front of a camera, they make for some amazing photos.

For the second year in a row we provided Film, Photography & Entertainment services for a wedding at beautiful Bear Creek Mtn. Resort. When you book an event on NYE you know the crowd is gonna wanna have fun and Brent and Cristen’s friends and family were ready to party.

The ceremony took place inside the Woodland ballroom with the guests at their dinner seats. Immediately after being pronounced husband and wife, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance.

One of the highlights of this evening  during the reception was the toasts. The Matron of Honor Carly made reference to Cristen always being so stylish. (And her style definitely showed in her great dress!) Carly had prepared though, a funny surprise to the delight of the crowd. A blown up photograph of a much younger version of Cristen!

The gentleman would not be upstaged however. All 6 co-Best Men brought the “A” game. Some wedding nights we don’t hear 1 good speech, but on this night we heard a total of 7. Everyone of the co-Best Men were prepared with funny and heartwarming anectdotes about the Cristen and Brent.

We brought in the New Year in style with Cristen and Brent’s guests. Right before midnight Cristens father made a nice speech thanking all the friends and family for making the day so special. Moments later the new year was rang in to a little LMFAO. Bear Creek lowered their triple display screens in the Woodland ballroom to show the ball dropping live from New York.

January 22nd, 2014 will be our 3rd year and 4th B104 show at the Holiday Inn Fogelsville! Always a fantastic event and in our opinion the must-go show of the area. And remember, if you attend the show and setup a consultation (FREE with no obligation) within 2 weeks, you’re eligible for our bridal show gifts! We will be booking the rest of our few remaining summer 2012 dates at this show, so make sure to schedule your consultation early to ensure you get your date!

B104 Bridal Showcase

Here are some tips for attending bridal shows:

• Get there early! There will be a line to get in. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water for yourself.

• Come with your entourage! No seriously…. Bring your MOH or mother. Anyone to come with you to help you process all the information you’re going to get. It’s really an information overload at Bridal Shows. There is ALOT to take in and it helps to have someone with you to parse through the information.

• Don’t leave out the Groom! We love meeting Grooms at Bridal Shows, remember it’s the biggest day of his life as well.

• Plan to attend two bridal shows. Your first show concentrate on walking around and gathering all the info you can. Consider your first a learning experience. Step back and take it all in. Your second show, come with a plan and be ready to set consultations.

Feature Films vs. “Videography” - The industry has come so far in a brief amount of time. Wedding “videography” of just 5 years ago is vastly different than what we do today. The biggest advance has been the advent of Digital SLR cameras. The very same hand held cameras we shoot with are the same exact Hollywood Films & Television are shot with. (House season finale & Ironman 2, Grand Prix scene for ex.) The best aspect of this technology aside from the breathtaking results on-screen, is that fact that gone are the days when Wedding “videographers” invade your reception with large bulky equipment & lights.

This is not your father’s wedding video, hours in length, grainy, bad audio and simply a linear recording of the day. Our Films are individually composed by our cinematographer to re-tell the story of your wedding day. Delivered in a custom Feature Film DVD or Blu-ray case, each is a unique production. Our pianist Ashley Smith has been playing the piano for over twenty years. She has extensive experience accompanying both soloists and choral groups and has some background in classical, jazz, and contemporary piano performance. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Susquehanna University and is currently in her 7th year of teaching instrumental music. She is available for ceremonies, cocktail hours and dinner service!
