Alyssa and Andrew wedding photography at Bear Creek...

A few weeks ago I was privileged to be the photographer for Alyssa and Andrew.  The ceremony was held at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Bally, PA.  The church is oldest existing Catholic place of worship in Pennsylvania and the fourth oldest Catholic structure in the thirteen original colonies.  It’s a really cute church with a beautiful balcony and gorgeous light coming through the side windows.  After the ceremony we headed to Bear Creek Mountain Resort.  It was drizzling a bit as we left the church, but stopped just as we pulled up to the pond.  After the creative session, the bridal party enjoyed cocktail hour at their hospitality suite while we got a few detail shots.  The staff at Bear creek did an amazing job, as always, making sure the venue looked beautiful and ran smoothly.  Their day was quite beautiful and I want to thank them for allowing Bar None to capture their memories. Kaitlin and Jason wedding photography at lockridge park...

A few weeks ago, I was hired to photograph the wedding of Kaitlin and Jason.  I had the pleasure of photographing Jason’s sisters wedding 3 years ago, so I was very excited and honored to be their photographer as well.  They decided to have their wedding ceremony at Lockridge Park in Alburtis.  Normally that sounds pretty awesome, except the same day of their wedding was the  Emmaus High School Senior Prom.  So little did we know, everyone it seemed that was going to the Prom came to Lockridge Park beforehand for photos.  For the most part it wasn’t a huge problem.  The groomsmen took care of the situation…well except for a military man who decided to sneak up behind Kaitlin after the ceremony during the family formals.  Well a fight almost broke out, but it turned out to be her brother who was stationed overseas.  He came home for a few weeks to surprise her on her wedding day.  What a beautiful moment when she saw him!  After lots of photos and tears, we all headed to Fullerton Firehall to have some fun at their reception.   The day turned out to be pretty great!  Thank You for allowing Bar None Photography to capture the memories of the day.   Other Vendors Who Helped Make Their Day Special: Venue: Fullerton Fire Company Make-up Artist/Hair Stylist: Allure Salon and Spa Florist: Katie Moyer Bakery: Piece ‘a Cake Dress: Bridals By Sandra Linens: Taylor Rental DJ: D’s...

Laura and Tommy – Wedding Photography at Riverview Country Club...

At the beginning of the month, I had the pleasure to capture the memories of Laura and Tommy’s wedding day.  The day couldn’t have been more perfect.  Though during bride prep mother nature was threatening us with rain, by the time we arrived to Riverview Country Club everything cleared up and the day was just as beautiful as the venue.  They held their outdoor ceremony across the pond from the venue which is always a gorgeous scene.  Afterwards we walked around the grounds for our formals, then made our way back inside for the reception.  The night was a ton of fun.  I don’t remember the dance floor ever being less then half full.  I’m very thankful to be apart of their special day.  We, at Bar None, wish you years of happiness!   Other Vendors Who Helped Make Their Day Special DJ: Bar None Entertainment Venue: Riverview Country Club Cake: Louie’s bakery Make-up Artist: Daneene Jensen Florist: Always Beautiful...

Katherine and Gabriel at Lockridge Park...

Katherine and I were emailing back and forth for a little over a month (maybe more) trying to lock down a date to have their engagement shoot.  Each date we set it was either snowing or had just snowed.  We were hoping the snow was going to melt when we first started talking about the shoot but every week…snow.  So we decided to embrace it and make it part of their shoot.  I was so happy that we did.  Katherine and Gabe were such a fun couple…and very adorable together to say the least.  I am so excited for their wedding in a few months at the Event Center at Blue...

Jodee and Brandon Wedding at CJ Hummels...

A few weeks ago, we had the rare honor to be the photographer of a winter wedding.  I was very unsure how it would turn out due to the uncertainties of the weather.  I was certainly hoping for snow since the outdoor photos would look quite dull without the pretty colors of spring, summer and fall.  Well……we got what we wanted.  As we arrived at the church for the ceremony it started snowing and continued through the whole night.  It wasn’t just ordinary snow, it was really large pretty snow flakes.  Jodee and Brandon had fun playing at the farm in the barn and with their snowmobile.  Afterward, we headed to CJ Hummels near Hamburg, Pa.  The day was awesome!  Not only was the day perfect due to the photos in the snow, they also had a choreographed dance which they did just after their “I Do’s”, and another bridal party dance after they cut their cake.  Thank You for allowing us to be apart of your day. Our Little Secret Boudoir Photography...

So, what is boudoir photography exactly? Boudoir photography is a sexy new trend that’s especially popular as a wedding day gift from a bride to her groom. Though not only for future brides, women of all ages like to have a photoshoot.  Boudoir photos are usually taken wearing either just a little, or well, nothing at all. They’re hardly X-rated though, but rather PG-13 or R — as in classic pinup-inspired pics, or what the pros call ‘implied nudes.’ That means you’re not wearing anything, but you’re also not showing off anything either (think shot from the back, or lying on your stomach). When should I schedule the session? If you’re spending time and money on an exercise and beauty routine, you may want to wait until you feel good about your body or if its for a wedding, then a few weeks before the wedding to show off the results. The turn-around is about three weeks.  If a package with an album is chosen you should add a few extra weeks depending on the time of the year. Contact Us For More Information...

Lauren and Gordon wedding at Bear Creek...

Our last wedding of the year, turned out to be one of the most fun weddings of the season.  Lauren and Gordon tied the knot last month at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Whitehall.  Though before they did, Lauren and the girls went to Studio 950 for their hair and back to her parents house where they met Lauren who applied their make-up.  Gordon, along with his guys, got ready at his own home until it was time for the ceremony.  After the ceremony, we headed to Bear Creek Mountain Resort for the reception.  The night was awesome!  They hired the party band “The Friends With Benefits”, who kept the dance floor packed all night.  During the night, Lauren’s sister took the mic and sang a little and Lauren’s father did a guitar solo as well.  The night was a lot of fun and a great way to end the wedding season.  I wish the newlyweds the best life has to offer. Alissa and Doug at Shawnee Inn Engagement...

After getting to know them, I am so excited already to photograph Alissa and Doug’s wedding day next fall at Shawnee Inn. But for now, I was more than happy to capture the engagement celebration between these two. This would be the first time I’ve been to the Shawnee Inn and I wasn’t sure what to expect as far as scenery and photo opportunities. I had nothing to worry about. I already knew the couple would make for some great photos, but to my pleasant surprise, there were numerous beautiful scenes for us at Shawnee Inn.  So many, that we didn’t even use them all. We’ll save some for the wedding! The Day of the photoshoot was a chilly, windy day, but we persevered. These two were troopers and even though they were a bit cold, they knew how to model… or it came off that way!  It was easy to get great shots because the love they had for each other was obvious and that came through to create great photos. I’m very much looking forward to the wedding now.  I had such a great time capturing their engagement...

Family Photography at Trexler Park...

Working with Donna and her photogenic family was a joy.  Their little boy came ready to get photos taken of him, as you can see!  He was such a trooper and very cooperative with us even with some pretty strong winds.  This was my first time taking photos at Trexler Park and it didn’t disappoint.  We actually ran out of little Tony’s patience (understandably) before we ran out of gorgeous scenes.  The day was perfect and working with such great people, it was a pleasure being their photographer....

Jessica and Vince Wedding Photography at Emerald Valley Farm...

Fun! That’s the first word that comes to mind when we think back on Jessica and Vince’s wedding. Though it wasn’t just fun, it was a romantic and beautiful celebration.  With such a great group of family and friends, we knew from the start, it was going to be a great day.  The women started their day off at Image Hair Studio in Kutztown, Pa.  Afterwards we headed down the road to St. Mary’s Church in Kutztown for some final touches and of course the ceremony. The reception was held at the Emerald Valley Farm in Hamburg, Pa.  The fun started off right when you got to cocktail hour with two games of Corn Hole all set up for the guests.  The venue was a beautiful Barn with a very high ceiling. Which was a good thing because both Jessica and Vincent were tossed high into the air by a few of their guests at some point during the night.  Also, as a result of Jessica winning the dollar dance collection, she was deemed in charge of the funds on their upcoming honeymoon… sorry Vincent 😉  And lastly, Mmmmmm… those cupcakes. The guests were treated to various flavors of delicious cupcakes.  Not that we had any…… Other Vendors Who Helped Make Their Day Special Cake – Icing on the Cake – owned by Stephanie Shay Hair Salon – Image Hair Studio Make-up was done by Matt Zerby Wedding Film – Bar None Caterer – Long’s Catering Dress – Jon’s Bridal by...

Casie and Brandon Engagement Photography...

Casie and I met to check out the scenery a few days prior to her engagement shoot and we saw the beautiful fall leaves everywhere you looked. Though between then and the actual day we met up for the photos, there was a storm that took away quite a bit of our leaves and scenery.  We weren’t going to let that stop us. We were still able to get some great photos and the love between these two were reflected in those photos. They were fun to work with and we had a great time. I was disappointed to find out that their wedding was in NY and that they booked a local New York photographer to photograph their wedding.  We love destination weddings! I can only imagine how special those photos will turn out.  We wish them an amazing wedding and...

Allison and Justin Engagement Photography...

Next summer I have the pleasure of being the photographer for Allison and Justin for their wedding at Bella Vista Golf Club.  I’m really excited to work with Allison’s family once again.  A few years ago, I was the photographer for her brother and wife at Bear Creek and they were such an awesome couple.  When Allison and Justin approached me about their wedding, I was very excited.  So, a few weeks ago we went to Bethlehem and did some engagement photography.  It was a cool breezy day, but you would never have know by looking at Allison.  They both were thinking warm thoughts and it turned out so beautiful.  They were so adorable together.  I really looking forward to working with them...

Lauren and David’s Wedding at Pine Brook Hollow...

Lauren and David are one of those couples who, as soon as you meet them, you know you’re going to have a great time. Our day started bright and early with Lauren and her bridesmaids getting ready at Meera Salon and Day Spa in Whitehall.  Once everyone was done, we all headed back to Pine Brook Hollow Tree Farm for the remainder of the day.  Its a gorgeous setting with acres of Pine trees, rustic farm houses and massive open fields that really highlight the beauty of the Lehigh Valley’s rolling countryside. Although the day was a bit rainy and quite cold, Lauren and David’s spirits were soaring high and every moment was filled with laughter and smiles.  They had an outdoor ceremony which took place at the edge of a small pond.  After the ceremony, Lauren and David’s intimate wedding party piled into the best man’s pickup truck so we could drive to some of their favorite spots to shoot some creative sessions. Piled high with bridesmaids and groomsmen, we drove from spot to spot on this gorgeous property for some really fantastic vistas.  After our creative sessions ended, the gang headed back to the pond where a small tent was set up for the reception. With a couple of heat lamps and a dance floor in the middle, it didn’t take long for the party to kick off and everyone to warm up with some good food and great dancing. As the night came to a close this quaint little reception party lit up the edge of the pond like a warm lantern of love and happiness. A perfect ending to a perfect day.   Other Vendors Who Helped Make Their Day Special Hair and makeup was Meera Salon Flowers were Rich Mar Florist Dress was Davids...

Kristen and Dennis at Bear Creek Mountain Resort...

Kristen and Dennis were more than elated on their wedding day, and kicked it off in full polish style!  A fabulous accordion player performed some traditional polka music while the bride got ready, followed by a classic catholic ceremony at the beautiful Saint Thomas More.  While the day may have been a little gray, it made for beautiful photos at the lovely venue they chose, Bear Creek.  The cloudy day highlighted the fall colors, fitting perfectly with the fall themed wedding.  There were pumpkins and fall foliage everywhere, which really made for a nice touch.  They ended their night with a Same Day Edit produced by our Cinematography team.  Here’s to hoping their many years of marriage are as spectacular as their first day. Emily and George Wedding at Lydia Mountain...

I was honored when Emily and George asked me to photograph their wedding, a few weeks ago, in the mountains of Virginia.  Emily is from the lehigh valley area and George (Drew) from Georgia.  So they thought it would be best to have a wedding somewhere in the middle so it would be easier for both families to attend their special day.   They chose a beautiful rustic venue at the Lydia Mountain Lodge.  It was gorgeous!  They both got ready in log cabins right next to each other and their ceremony site was within walking distance.  Unfortunately throughout the morning it was very foggy, so during the ceremony it wasn’t as picturesque as it had the potential to be.  After the ceremony, we walked around the area taking some photos before walking to the reception site.  I had a feeling throughout the day that this bridal party was going to be on the dance floor all night, and they proved me correct.  They were a really fun bunch and partied all night long.  The dance floor was never close to being empty.  Thank You again for hiring Bar None for your wedding photography.  Congratulations Emily and George! Brittany and David at Bear Creek...

Brittany and David are such a cute couple.  I was hired last fall to be their photographer for both their engagement shoot and wedding.  Now, I’m a huge Eagles fan, but they are such a cute couple that you can forgive them for being Steelers fans! Actually since their wedding, the Steelers have been on a roll with Big Ben making QB history with 12 touchdowns in two games.  Maybe every so often they should renew their vows to ensure the Steelers a good season.  So their wedding took place at the beautiful Bear Creek Mountain Resort.  It was a perfect fall day and it lent itself to a touching first look by the pond. We then went  right into a blue sky accented ceremony at the Woodland Ballroom site. Afterwards we took a few formals before heading into the reception for a night of fun!  The night came to an end with all their family and friends watching the “Same Day Edit” from the day, which was also produced by Bar None! Loren and Howard at the Club at Morgan Hill...

Finally!  I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding at the Club at Morgan Hill for quite some time.  Everytime I’m ever there, I’m there shooting a Wedding Film.  Loren and Howard hired Bar None to photograph their wedding and I was very excited to do so.  While we were at her parents house getting ready in the morning, we were keeping an eye on the local radar because the weather wasn’t looking too promising.  It was raining all morning and the percentage for precipitation at the time of their wedding wasn’t in our advantage.   One of the girls went to Walmart to buy cute umbrellas just incase.  Once Loren and the girls were all done getting ready, we headed to the venue for the ceremony and reception.  Unfortunately the rain kept falling right up to the time of the ceremony so we had to bring the chairs indoors.  Of course we all wanted the ceremony outdoors, it was still beautiful under the tent.  I loved how each chair had green bows.  It really made it look nice.  Once they said their “I Do’s”, the rain subsided enough that we were able to go outside for the formals.  Boy were we happy!  Bradley Wilson, Director of the Food and Beverage at Club at Morgan Hill,  besides being very nice he was incredibly helpful to us.  He gave us golf carts so we could go to one of their most scenic holes.  The view was pretty awesome.  Afterwards, we headed back to the reception to eat, drink and have a ton of fun.
