The Pink Ball

When our friends at American Hairlines in historic downtown Bethlehem asked us to help out with a charity event they had put together, we were just glad we had that night free. A chance to film a swanky event in their great establishment was more of a night off then anything.

More then that it was a chance to dig into our “outside-the-box” creative side and have a little fun producing something a little more edgy then a wedding. And it did not disappoint, with the amazing decorating, great music, entertaining people, and to top it all off, helping out an awesome cause like Alex’s Lemonade stand! If you enjoy the film I encourage you to donate to Alex’s Lemonade Stand!

On November 5, 2011, American Hairlines will be hosting a fundraiser for cancer research, The Pink Ball.

Cancer is a large heterogeneous class of diseases in which a group of cells display growth. The most common causes of cancer are the environment and heredity. While cancer accounts for nearly 1 in 4 deaths in the United States annually, it leaves more struggling and fighting for their lives each and everyday. October is best known as breast cancer awareness month; a time to band together and support our mothers, aunts, wives, sisters, daughters, and friends, but why should we stop there? This disease can affect anyone, including children.

Cancer research is targeted at finding cures, treatments, and improved diagnostic testing for all varieties of this disease. However, without grants and funding, doctors, nurses, and researchers cannot continue their work fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves. Alex’s Lemonade stand is dedicated to providing research grants so that doctors and nurses can provide terminally ill children with the most promising form of treatment. Our is hope that The Pink Ball will help provide funding to those afflicted by childhood cancer, one pink lemonade at a time.
