Darren & Josephine
I had the pleasure to be the Photographer at the Dries Wedding on April 9th. They had their ceremony at the beautiful Saint Ann’s Catholic Church in Emmaus, Pennsylvania and the reception at the Best Western Hotel & Conference Center in Bethlehem, Pa. When looking at the weather forecast a few days prior to their event, it seemed inevitable that it was going to rain. Fortunately the weathermen still never get it right because it turned out to be a beautiful day after all.
It’s not every wedding (or any wedding quite frankly!) that you get to photograph the groomsmen playing with guns and tanks, but I was fortunate enough to be taking the groom pre-ceremony photos at the Dries family house that day. I wasn’t sure, before I arrived at their home, how I can incorporate a tank with a wedding but once we started shooting it seemed to work. The groomsmen, and even Darren’s father, had a blast that day. Boys will be boys, even on their wedding day…
